How To Install A Wifi Connection
A WiFi connection can provide wireless internet connectivity for all the computers in your household and provide freedom of movement and ease of use over traditional, wired broadband internet connections. Fortunately, installation of a WiFi connection is a relatively simple process that requires only a few steps and can be performed by anyone, even if you don’t have any experience with setting up WiFi connections. With your router at the ready and your network cable in hand, you have all you need to perform this installation.
Disconnect your computer from any Internet connection it currently has by detaching it from the cable modem. Ensure that the modem’s power plug is also detached from the wall socket. FM Transmitter(iPhone FM Transmitters )
Connect the network cable (also known as the ethernet cable) into the back of the router. To do so, make sure you make this connection via the port on the modem’s back listed as either “Internet”, “WAN” or “WLAN” (this depends on the router manufacturer).
Turn on your computer. Plug the cable modem into the wall and allow it to boot up and detect its settings. Create a temporary Internet connection by grabbing the wireless router network cable and hooking it into an open wireless router port on the router (this port cannot be the “WLAN”, “WAN” or “Internet” ports).iPhone FM Transmitter(FM Transmitter with Remote Control for Ipod Iphone)
Locate the router-oriented URL that is provided by your specific broadband company. You can find this in the router’s manual. Once you find this, open your Internet browser and head to this URL, then type in the default password when prompted. This password was also in the router documentation with the URL.
Choose an SSID for your network (a network name). Select an encryption level when prompted; although this is an optional step, it will password-protect your network and protect it from others who may want to utilize it illegally. Click “Apply” to save these settings.

Connect to your new wireless network. Right-click on the network icon on the bottom toolbar on your computer’s desktop. Then, select “View Available Wireless Networks” from the menu that pops up after you right-click. Select your wireless network name you chose earlier. This will prompt you with a password screen if you chose to password-protect your connection. Enter the password and you should now be connected.
